SPOILERS S14: Survivor Fiji - When Does Plus One Equal Minus Two?

Spoilers - S14: Fiji SURVIVOR PHOENIX
February 6, 2007

Survivor Fji is set to debut in a couple of days. With Super Bowl hangover behind us, Survivor spoiling fans need a few more tidbits on which to munch. So sit back and take a tour of Loser Lodge update.

For those who like to decipher puzzles, the following clues along with the information on the cast page should help flesh out the pre-Jury scenario of Survivor Fiji.

Is that one or two quitters?

In short, two. While Mellisa never officially entered the game, some purists still count her absence from the game as quitting, since it affected the initial game play.

The second quitter should garner much more sympathy from the fans, since that departure is dictated by the elements. This player has a hard time adjusting to the environment and will leave the game in between two Tribal Councils.
Hint: a true fan of the show, this player applied for Cook Islands as well as Fiji.

What's that, no double boot?

That's right. As previously noted, we misinterpreted some information which was originally sent to us. In the past, a winning tribe has only lost a player in a double boot scenario. This season, a tribe will lose a player after winning a challenge when faced with an ethical dilemma: switch camps or lose a player.
Hint: a tribe already up by three players would not readily give up its perceived advantage.

Tribal Switch

When the players won't take matters into their own hands to switch things up, producers will do it for them. With six players gone, it's time to mix it up and get some Moto players to experience the hard life. The last player standing after the pick'em will go to Exile Island, much as Sylvia did in the initial episode.
Hint: one woman and five men switch tribes; the exiled player is in the minority.

Location! Location! Location! Strength will have no power over the hex of the Ravu camp. The same tribe has to face Tribal Council, but this boot will be a first: a man is finally voted out of the game.
